As 2025 draws to a close, one thing is clear — this was not a year of straight lines, but of strong foundations.

Markets tested patience, challenged conviction, and yet rewarded discipline. From global central bank actions to India’s resilient growth story, 2025 reminded investors why process matters more than prediction.

While global headwinds tested sentiment, domestic flows and sector rotations created pockets of opportunity. Precious metals stole the show, but equities reminded investors of their long-term wealth -building power.

Indian markets witnessed sector rotation — large caps regained leadership while mid & small caps consolidated after a strong multi-year rally

Despite intermittent corrections, Indian equities stayed resilient — backed by:

• Strong corporate earnings
• Healthy balance sheets
• Stable macros (inflation, fiscal discipline, forex reserves)

Asset Class Performance: Who Won 2025?

Precious metals dominated headlines, with silver and gold leading returns amid inflation fears and safe-haven demand. Equities showed mixed results—largecaps steady, midcaps resilient, smallcaps challenged. Here's the scorecard

PRODUCT OF THE WEEK

ICICI PRU FLEXI CAP FUND

Screenshot 2025-12-01 013746.png

Why to Invest in ICICI Flexi Cap Fund?

ICICI Flexi Fund is intended to invest in high-conviction ideas across market cap. This fund is primarily exposed to consumer-oriented companies especially in Autos, Hospitals, Realty, Retail lending, and
other Consumer discretionary.

The fund also has a good blend of B2B-oriented sectors like Auto Ancillaries and mid cap IT, although we have trimmed our significant overweight to the IT sector

While from a valuation perspective, ICICI Flexi cap may favour large cap over mid/small cap currently, given the bottom-up approach to stock selection, the fund will look for opportunities irrespective of the
market cap segment

It is transforming industries, careers, and businesses.

But here’s the truth:

AI gives answers, humans give direction.

The future is not Human vs AI. It is Human + AI.

Why AI + Human Intelligence Wins:

1. Speed Meets Wisdom AI works fast. Humans decide wisely.
2. Automation Meets Creativity AI automates tasks. Humans create breakthroughs.
3. Data Meets Experience AI finds patterns. Humans add judgment and context.
